Presented to handpicked achievers from across the country, this prestigious award honours exceptional individuals with disabilities under two categories: The CavinKare Ability Award for Eminence and The CavinKare Ability Mastery Awards. Established in 2003, the award over the past 22 years has recognized 95 trailblazing individuals who have defied traditional barriers to pursue their dreams with unwavering determination. The CavinKare ABILITY AWARDS honours the exceptional accomplishments of persons with disabilities, recognizing their remarkable contributions in setting a benchmark for excellence nationwide. Each recipient is awarded a cash prize, a trophy, and a citation, acknowledging their inspiring triumphs and accomplishments.
Each individual may be nominated in any one category and should be an Indian national with disability (as recognised in the (Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016), who has done exceptionally well in his/her chosen field The nomination process includes short-listing, interviews, and site visits by representatives and ultimately selection by a discerning jury.
