Air Serbia extends its CHAMP partnership by adding Traxon cargoHUB to enhance customer connectivity and cargo digitalization

Frankfurt, Aug 18 – Air Serbia has extended its long-standing partnership with CHAMP Cargosystems by adding Traxon cargoHUB. The service provides the carrier and its customers an additional channel for exchanging electronic cargo messages seamlessly, and supports continued digitalization across its cargo operations. The selection builds on a trusted relationship spanning more than 15 years, during which Air Serbia has steadily adopted a broad portfolio of CHAMP solutions to enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer service.

By connecting to Traxon cargoHUB, Air Serbia now exchanges key cargo messages electronically, including FWB, FHL, and FSU, creating a more connected experience for freight forwarders and cargo partners. This enhanced connectivity streamlines processes, reduces manual intervention, improves data quality, and supports faster, more reliable information sharing across the air cargo supply chain. Air Serbia can also reuse the same electronic data for customs and regulatory purposes further improving operational accuracy and keeping pace with fast-evolving compliance requirements.

For customers, the integration offers greater flexibility in how they connect and exchange shipment data with Air Serbia while supporting broader eAWB adoption and increased process automation.

Air Serbia has been a CHAMP Cargospot customer since 2011, leveraging Cargospot Airline, Cargospot Handling, and Cargospot GSA to support its growing cargo operations. The airline also utilizes CHAMP APIs to enable seamless connectivity with customers and partners, alongside CHAMP’s regulatory compliance solutions, including Traxon Global Customs (TGC) and Traxon Global Security (TGS), to meet customs and security filing requirements across multiple international markets. The addition of Traxon cargoHUB marks the next phase in Air Serbia’s digitalization journey, further strengthening connectivity, automation, and data exchange capabilities across its cargo ecosystem while delivering an enhanced experience for customers and business partners.

"Our customers expect faster, more connected, and increasingly digital cargo services," said Veselin Đorđević, Head of Cargo at Air Serbia. "By connecting to Traxon cargoHUB, we are extending the ways customers can exchange electronic data with us, helping simplify their operations while strengthening collaboration across the global air cargo community."

Karla Marquez, Senior Sales and Account Manager at CHAMP Cargosystems, said: "Air Serbia’s continued investment in digitalization demonstrates how airlines can deliver greater value to customers through stronger connectivity and automation. By extending its use of CHAMP’s solutions with Traxon cargoHUB, Air Serbia is further enhancing the customer experience while building a more efficient, compliant, and future-ready cargo operation."

As the industry continues to embrace digital workflows, Cargo Community Systems such as Traxon cargoHUB play an increasingly important role in connecting airlines, freight forwarders, ground handlers, and other stakeholders through a trusted digital ecosystem. Air Serbia's latest investment demonstrates its commitment to strengthening connectivity across the supply chain, helping drive greater operational efficiency, enhanced visibility, and a more seamless customer experience.
