Oct 19: Once a year, some of India’s most coveted fashion names come together under one roof, creating an opportunity to discover designer fashion beyond the traditional boutique experience. This October, The Warehouse Sale by Warehouse by Mudita arrives in Mumbai on 23rd October, bringing together 70+ Indian designer labels, including Tarun Tahiliani, Anushree Reddy, Gulaabo by Abu Sandeep, Rohit Bal, Shantnu & Nikhil, and more, with collections spanning bridal couture, occasion wear, and contemporary prêt, at up to 70% off.

The Mumbai edition follows a high-response Delhi event that recorded over 9,000 registrations and 6,500+ actual walk-ins, drawing a premium audience that included high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The response extended to the designer floor, where multiple designer booths sold out completely. Among the labels whose booths sold out were Elisha Wadhwani, Jayanti Reddy, Anita Dongre, Tarun Tahiliani, Dhananjay Khaitan, Awigna, Rohit Bal, Masaba, and Anushkaa Bajaj, among others. The turnout and sell-outs offered a clear indication of the interest in a format that brings multiple designer houses together in one destination.

At its heart, The Warehouse Sale is built around the art of discovery. Rather than navigating individual boutiques across the city, shoppers can explore a wide spectrum of Indian designer fashion in a single visit, moving between established couture houses, occasion-wear specialists, and contemporary labels. The experience brings together the thrill of finding a coveted piece, the pleasure of discovering a label one might not have encountered otherwise, and the opportunity to consider different designers and price points side by side.

This approach reflects the larger idea behind Warehouse by Mudita, which pioneered the designer-outlet model in India. Founded by Mudita Jaipuria, the platform was built on the belief that access and luxury can coexist. By bringing designer labels together and sourcing pieces directly from the respective houses, it offers authentic designer creations at more accessible prices, without compromising on provenance.

The format holds particular relevance as the wedding and festive season gather pace. Occasion dressing often involves finding pieces for multiple celebrations, from wedding ceremonies and receptions to festive gatherings and evening events. Having a broad selection of designers under one roof allows shoppers to explore varied aesthetics, craftsmanship, and silhouettes in one setting, whether they are looking for a statement bridal ensemble, a wedding-guest outfit, or contemporary pieces for the season.

For Warehouse by Mudita, the appeal lies in more than the breadth of the line-up. The multi-designer environment creates room for the unexpected find: a piece from a familiar couture house alongside a discovery from a newer label. It is this combination of curation, choice, and access that distinguishes the Warehouse experience from a conventional single-brand shopping visit.

Following the response in Delhi, the Mumbai edition brings this proposition to a new audience. With 70+ participating designers and its biggest sale of the year, The Warehouse Sale will take place on 23rd October at NSCI Palace Halls, Worli. Entry is by registration only.

Mudita Jaipuria, Founder of Warehouse by Mudita, says:

“What I set out to build was access, a way for the finest of Indian design to reach far more people than a boutique ever could, without losing any of its allure. The Warehouse Sale is that idea at its fullest: the most coveted names under one roof, at exceptional prices, drawing everyone from the industry's own stylists to first-time buyers. This October, it comes alive in Mumbai too.”
