Oct 22: Troo Good, India's First and Largest millet snack brand, has opened its 7th manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. With this addition,Troo Good's manufacturing network now spans a total of 90,000 sq. feet and produces 5 crore chikkis and bars every month. The expansion strengthens the company's ability to meet growing on-ground demand for everyday snacks that combine taste, nutrition and affordability.

The new unit is part of a broader manufacturing scale-up, with Troo Good commissioning 3 new facilities in 2026. These additions have grown its network from 4 facilities in early 2025 to 7 today, across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Haryana. Over the same period, monthly output has grown 2.5X, from approximately 480 tonnes to 1,200 tonnes, reinforcing the manufacturing scale behind its position as India's largest millet snack brand.
Troo Good has also committed to invest around ₹40 crore in its upcoming Alpha factory, which will be India's largest state-of-the-art chikki manufacturing facility. Spread across approximately 1,00,000 sq. feet, the new unit will double Troo Good's current production capacity. It will manufacture millet chikkis and nutrition bars, while supporting local job creation and contributing to domestic food manufacturing.
The increase in production supports a distribution network that now reaches 70,000+ retail outlets across 7 states through 250+ distributors, along with nearly 60,000 schools across 8 states. By building capacity closer to key consumption markets, Troo Good is strengthening its ability to serve demand across both retail and institutional channels. Overall network utilisation stands at around 85%, leaving headroom for further growth.
Commenting on the expansion, Raju Bhupati, Founder & CEO, Troo Good, said:
"Our manufacturing growth has followed the consumer. The response we are seeing on the ground reinforces our belief that everyday nutrition must work on taste and affordability as much as it does on nutrition. As more consumers choose these products, our focus is on building the manufacturing strength to serve them consistently. This expansion takes us another step closer to our ambition to Nourish 1 Billion Indians, while building a stronger domestic manufacturing ecosystem."
As volumes have grown, Troo Good has invested in manufacturing capabilities that maintain consistency and efficiency at scale. The company has developed proprietary equipment to standardise jaggery syrup preparation and has brought production of its core millet crispy ingredient in-house. Its distributed manufacturing network has also reduced delivery timelines by around 50% and freight cost per kilogram by 2–3%, helping the company maintain accessible price points.
Troo Good's manufacturing operations are supported by an in-house technology platform that provides batch-level traceability across procurement, production and dispatch. Its facilities are certified under FSSAI, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 and HACCP.
