Diploma courses i.e. ANM & GNM are the foundation courses in the nursing stream which take quite a lesser duration to finish and make individuals ready to work at the primary health care level right after the successful completion of the respective course. Graduation courses i.e. B.Sc Nursing & Post graduation M.Sc Nursing shape an individual through a slightly longer duration to gain special competencies across all settings in nursing administration and the teaching-learning process later. Ph.D. nursing is for those who want to take up teaching.
