Bengaluru, Aug 3: EduVision 2026, the inaugural leadership conclave hosted by Deeksha Vedantu, concluded at The Chancery Pavilion, Bengaluru, with the adoption of the EduVision Conclave Resolution—a ten-point action agenda shaped by more than 100 school principals and academic leaders from across Bengaluru.
Held under the theme "Shaping Tomorrow's Schools, Today," the day-long conclave brought together 15 distinguished education leaders for keynote addresses, panel discussions, and 12 collaborative roundtable sessions to deliberate on the opportunities and challenges shaping K-12 education in the age of artificial intelligence.
The discussions culminated in a shared set of commitments that reflect how school leaders believe education must evolve—from integrating AI responsibly into classrooms and reimagining assessments to strengthening teacher readiness, student wellbeing, personalised learning, parent engagement, and future-focused school leadership.

The conclave opened with a keynote address by Dr. Sridhar G, Founder of Deeksha Vedantu, who delivered the keynote address “The Future of K-12 Education in India”. Citing data on enrolment versus learning outcomes, Dr. Sridhar argued that while India has made remarkable strides in getting children into school, the harder challenge — ensuring they learn, think, and are prepared for an unpredictable future — remains unmet.
"We have spent decades building a system that rewards the right answer. Artificial intelligence has made that the wrong ambition. The future graduate cannot simply know—they must think, question, and build," said Dr. Sridhar G.
The first panel discussion, "Is Your School AI-Ready? Rethinking Teaching, Learning, and Assessment," explored how schools can responsibly integrate AI without losing sight of education's human purpose.
Ms. Pinkey Singh, Principal, Royale Concorde International School, stressed that assessment frameworks must evolve to measure critical thinking, collaboration and character alongside academic achievement.
"We must prepare students for life, not just for examinations," she said.
Adding to the discussion, Ms. Hamsa Venugopal, Managing Director, New Baldwin Group of Institutions, emphasised that successful AI adoption must remain teacher-led while schools consciously protect student wellbeing through healthy digital boundaries.
The second panel, "How Do We Prepare Students for a World That Does Not Yet Exist?", focused on the competencies students will need in the coming decade. Dr. Ritu Chauhan highlighted critical thinking, creativity, digital literacy and financial literacy as foundational future skills, while Dr. Manjula Raman, Academic Director, Sherwood High, challenged conventional notions of academic excellence.
"Rigour should mean the joy of deep learning—not pressure," she said.
The EduVision Conclave Resolution
Following structured roundtable discussions across twelve thematic tables — spanning AI in teaching and learning, assessment reform, teacher readiness, student wellbeing, personalised learning, school leadership, and the school of 2035 — participants collectively arrived at ten resolutions that reflect the shared priorities of school leaders on the ground.
Resolution 1 — On AI in Teaching and LearningWe resolve that schools will integrate AI as a tool for personalised learning, not as a replacement for the teacher. Schools commit to equipping every teacher with the knowledge and tools to cater to diverse learners in AI-enabled classrooms.
Resolution 2 — On Assessment ReformWe resolve that assessment must move beyond examinations that test recall and include peer-based learning, open ended questions and presentations. AI-assisted evaluation must also be implemented
Resolution 3 — On Future SkillsWe resolve that every graduating student must possess the four C’s – Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication and the confidence to express, explore, and learn.
Resolution 4 — On Teacher ReadinessWe resolve that teachers must be empowered and enabled to grow alongside AI, not overwhelmed by it. We must enable teachers to play the elevated roles of mentor, guide, and critical thinker.
Resolution 5 — On Student WellbeingWe resolve that every school will establish clear boundaries between screen time and human time — protecting space for reflection, physical activity, and face-to-face connection.
Resolution 6 — On School LeadershipWe resolve that the school leaders will lead change by starting small, measuring outcomes, and building trust before scale.
Resolution 7 — On the School of 2035We resolve that the school of the future will centre around values, life skills, and resilience as non-negotiables. It will give students the freedom to choose what they learn, how they learn, and how they demonstrate that learning, with AI as a partner, not a prescription.
Resolution 8 — On Personalised LearningWe resolve to move beyond one-size-fits-all education, building curricula that support every child, without adding unsustainable burden to teachers and ensuring no child is left behind
Resolution 9 — On Parent PartnershipWe resolve to redefine parents as active partners — sharing our vision with them, building their digital literacy, and equipping them to raise responsible digital citizens.
Resolution 10 — On Redefining School SuccessWe resolve that a truly successful school is not measured by board results alone. The indicators of the next decade are values, life skills, curiosity, and entrepreneurial thinking in every child who walks through our doors.
Looking Ahead
The EduVision Conclave Resolution will now guide implementation across participating schools over the coming academic year, with Deeksha Vedantu committing to reconvene principals to track progress against all ten resolutions. Organisers confirmed that EduVision will return as an annual fixture, expanding participation beyond Bengaluru in its next edition.
