Gurugram: KIIT World School hosted a Professional Resource Person (PRP) programme organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), focusing on Computational Thinking. The session explored practical ways to develop logical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills among young learners. Special emphasis was placed on making these concepts simple, engaging and age-appropriate for students of Classes III to V.

The programme brought together 60 teachers from different schools, providing them with an opportunity to learn new classroom approaches and activities that can help students understand problems, identify patterns and find solutions through logical thinking.

The programme also highlighted the importance of moving beyond textbook-based learning and giving children opportunities to ask questions, understand concepts, think independently and find solutions to problems. Teachers explored how everyday activities and classroom exercises can be used to gradually strengthen these skills among young learners.

Dr. Neelima Kamrah, Principal, KIIT World School, said, “In today’s rapidly changing world, providing information to children is not enough. It is equally important to develop their ability to ask the right questions, think logically and find solutions to problems. Computational Thinking helps children build these essential skills and prepares them to approach challenges with greater confidence and clarity.”
