Noida, July 29: The School of Management, Institute of Management Studies, Noida successfully concluded its three-day Faculty Development Programme, "Research Intelligence 2026," with enriching technical sessions on research publications, advanced data analytics, and the application of R and R Studio in academic research.
The first technical session was delivered by Prof. Dr.P. K. Biswas, Vice Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, on the topic "Why Research is Important & Steps for Research Publications." He highlighted the significance of quality research, research ethics, manuscript preparation, selection of appropriate journals, and the various stages involved in the publication process. He emphasized that high-quality research is the cornerstone of academic excellence and institutional reputation, encouraging researchers to uphold originality and ethical standards in their scholarly work.
The second technical session was conducted by Mr. Shivam Chougule , who provided hands-on training in data preparation, data management, and statistical analysis using the R Programming Language. This was followed by the final technical session by Dr. Nithin, who demonstrated advanced data analysis techniques through R Studio, covering statistical modelling, data visualization, and analytical methods for empirical research.
During the Valedictory Session, participants shared their learning experiences and appreciated the practical and application-oriented approach of the programme. Certificates were awarded to all eligible participants who successfully completed the FDP. The programme concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks acknowledging the valuable contributions of the resource persons, organizers, and institutional leadership.
The valedictory session was graced by Prof. Dr. J. K. Sharma, Advisor, IMS Noida, and Dr. Vartika Chaturvedi, Dean – CRC & School of Management, who appreciated the enthusiastic participation of faculty members and emphasized that such Faculty Development Programmes play a vital role in equipping academicians and researchers with emerging research methodologies, AI-enabled research tools, and advanced data analytics skills.
The programme was successfully coordinated by Ms. Anshika Rajvanshi, FDP Convenor, with significant support from Dr. Jawahar Kumar, Assistant Professor, IMS Noida, who served as the Co-Convenor. Their dedicated efforts ensured the smooth execution and overall success of the three-day programme.
