Gurugram, July 20: KIIT World School celebrated the achievements of its high-performing students by organising the Scholar Badge and Scholarship Award Ceremony, recognising excellence in academics as well as all-round development. The event aimed to acknowledge students' dedication, encourage a culture of excellence, and inspire them to strive for greater success.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Anshu Singla, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the students, she encouraged them to pursue their goals with honesty, discipline and perseverance. Emphasising the importance of road safety, she reminded students that following traffic rules is a responsibility that demands complete commitment, as even a small lapse can have serious consequences. She urged the young audience to become responsible and aware citizens.
As part of the ceremony, students who secured 80 percent and above in the 2025–26 academic session were honoured with Scholar Badges in recognition of their outstanding academic performance. The event also featured the presentation of scholarships to meritorious students of Classes X and XII for their exceptional results in the CBSE Board Examinations.
Among the Class X achievers, Shreyansh Jha, who scored 98.2%, was awarded a 100% tuition fee waiver scholarship. Akshara Shekhawat received a 30% fee waiver, while Mannat Mishra, Niranjana and Vanshika were presented with 50% tuition fee waiver scholarships. Several other deserving students were also awarded scholarships worth ₹18,000 and ₹12,000.
In Class XII, Utkarsh Verma received a scholarship of ₹10,000, Shreya Singh was awarded ₹5,000, while Anjali Devi and Krishika received scholarships of ₹1,500 each.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Neelima Kamrah, Principal, KIIT World School, said,

In addition to academic honours, students were recognised across various special categories, including Best Orator, Perfect Attendance, Eco Green Warrior, Best Sportsperson, and Cultural Ambassador, celebrating their achievements beyond the classroom.
