Makoons World School to Host Green Innovation-themed Science Exhibition on National Science Day

New Delhi, 29th February 2024: Makoons World Schools is proud to announce its upcoming science exhibition, dedicated to fostering innovation and celebrating the spirit of scientific inquiry amongst young minds. Scheduled to coincide with National Science Day on February 28th, the event will showcase the ingenuity of students aged between 10 to 15 years.

This year’s theme, “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat,” as provided by the government, aligns with the national agenda of promoting indigenous innovation and self-reliance. In line with this, Makoons World School has chosen to emphasize “Green Innovation” as its focal point, highlighting the importance of sustainable solutions in addressing contemporary challenges.

The exhibition aims to provide a platform for young scientists and innovators to present their projects and ideas centered around environmental sustainability, renewable energy, waste management, and other related fields. Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, critical thinking skills, and scientific knowledge through interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations.

“We are thrilled to host this year’s Science Exhibition, focusing on indigenous technologies,” said Mr. Vijay Kumar Agarwal, Founder and CEO, of Makoons Group of Schools. “It’s a celebration of our country’s diverse heritage and potential to drive forward-thinking solutions for a sustainable future.”

Students from across Makoons World Schools have been diligently preparing exhibits that highlight indigenous technologies in fields such as agriculture, healthcare, renewable energy, and more. Visitors can expect interactive displays, hands-on experiments, and insightful presentations that illustrate the relevance and significance of indigenous knowledge in contemporary scientific discourse.

National Science Day is celebrated in honor of Sir C.V. Raman’s groundbreaking discovery of the Raman Effect, a momentous achievement showcasing India’s scientific research prowess. Makoons World Schools’ Science Exhibition pays homage to this legacy while also looking forward, envisioning a future where indigenous technologies play a pivotal role in fostering innovation and sustainability.

The exhibition is open to the public, welcoming students, educators, parents, and science enthusiasts of all ages to join in the celebration of India’s scientific heritage. Attendees will be able to engage with students, educators, and industry experts, fostering dialogue and collaboration toward a brighter, more technologically empowered India.
