NIIT University and Grant Thornton Bharat LLP Announce Strategic Collaboration to Launch BBA Programme

New Delhi, May 2: NIIT University (NU), in collaboration with Grant Thornton Bharat LLP (GTBharat), has announced the launch of a co-created BBA programme aimed at redefining business education through industry-aligned, outcome-driven learning.

The strategic partnership reflects a growing shift in higher education towards integrating academic frameworks with real-world industry exposure. The programme is designed to equip students with practical skills, professional experience, and industry readiness from the outset.

Under the collaboration, NIIT University will oversee academic delivery, infrastructure, faculty-led instruction, and student assessment. Grant Thornton Bharat will contribute through curriculum co-development, mentorship, live projects, internships, and evaluation inputs—ensuring a seamless blend of classroom learning and industry immersion.

Key Highlights of the Programme

  • Up to 18 months of structured industry practice with stipend support
  • Up to 80% application-led curriculum focused on experiential learning
  • Hands-on training in tools such as Excel, Python, SAP, Power BI, and AI
  • Opportunities for Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) through industry exposure
  • Defined career pathways in finance and consulting roles

The programme is structured to ensure that graduates gain not just a degree, but also the skills, experience, and professional networks required to succeed in a competitive job market.

Commenting on the collaboration, Prakash Gopalan said,
