Hyderabad, Aug 3: SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies , Hyderabad Campus, welcomed the new undergraduate batches of the School of Commerce, School of Technology Management & Engineering, School of Pharmacy & Technology Management , and School of Law through a series of orientation programmes, marking the beginning of their academic journey.
The programmes commenced with the traditional Lighting of the Lamp, Saraswati Vandana, and the NMIMS Anthem, followed by a welcome address from Dr. N. Suman Kumar Naredla, Campus Director, NMIMS Hyderabad, who encouraged students to embrace continuous learning, innovation, discipline, and ethical leadership.
The School of Commerce orientation featured Ms. Meenakshi Chhillar, VP, India HR Country Leader at ModMed, who spoke about leadership, adaptability, and the future of work. The School of Law welcomed Mr. Praveen Kumar, Head – Legal & Compliance, Apollo Health and Lifestyle, who highlighted the importance of integrity, ethics, and lifelong learning in the legal profession.
Across all four schools, students were introduced to their academic curriculum, faculty, research opportunities, internships, placements, student support services, and campus facilities. Interactive sessions with faculty and campus leaders helped students gain clarity on academic expectations while enabling parents to understand the University's commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and enriching learning environment.
