September 09, 2024: The NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM) has once again blazed its way into the Financial Times’ elite global top-100 MBA programme rankings, cementing its reputation as a powerhouse in business education. This marks the third consecutive year that the MBA programme, known for its unique blend of academic rigour and practical application, has achieved this distinguished recognition, solidifying its status as a world-class institution for business education.
The Financial Times rankings, released in the second week of September, are widely regarded as a benchmark for excellence in Business Education worldwide. NMIMS SBM stands out as one of only five B-schools in India that have maintained a top 100 position for three consecutive years, underscoring its consistent commitment to delivering high-quality education and producing industry-ready graduates.
Dr. Ramesh Bhat, Vice Chancellor, SVKM’s NMIMS University, expressed his pride in the B-School’s achievement, “The recognition of our MBA programme by the Financial Times (MiM Global Ranking) is a testament to the tireless efforts of our faculty, staff, and alumni. It reaffirms our position as a global leader in business education and motivates us to raise our bar in academic excellence.”
The ranking highlights significant improvements in key areas, especially in Career Progress, ranked no. 18 globally and no. 2 among the B-Schools in India. The ranking effectively measures the career advancement of MBA graduates. There is also a notable upward trend in the Alumni Network, where NMIMS is ranked no. 3 (in India) denoting the effectiveness of the alumni network for career opportunities. The weighted salary of NMIMS graduates has shown a significant uptick over the last two years, a crucial parameter in the Financial Times rankings. This positive trend is further reinforced by the substantial growth in the salary increase ranking, which now stands at no. 6 amongst B-Schools in India. Both these factors collectively underscore the enhanced earning potential and career progression of NMIMS alumni.
Dr. Justin Paul, Dean and Provost, NMIMS School of Business Management, said, “Being ranked among the world’s top-100 MBA programmes for the third consecutive year is a remarkable achievement. It is a testament to our excellent pedagogy and the relevance of our curriculum in today’s dynamic business environment. This success is a collective effort, and I’m immensely proud of our entire NMIMS community.”
The ranking celebrates the school’s academic prowess and reinforces its status as a global premier institution for business education. It reflects a commitment to providing a world-class learning experience that prepares students for leadership roles in the ever-evolving business landscape.
As NMIMS School of Business Management continues to build on this success, it remains steadfast in its commitment to innovating its programmes, enhancing industry partnerships, and fostering an academic and professional growth environment for its students and faculty alike.
