Sheffield Hallam University invites applications for MSc International Business Management

The programme develops global business expertise, strategic thinking and practical management skills to prepare students for careers in an increasingly interconnected international marketplace.

September 7, 2026: Sheffield Hallam University is inviting applications for its MSc International Business Management programme for the January 2027 intake. The course is designed for students looking to build the knowledge, analytical capabilities and practical skills required to operate effectively in diverse and fast-changing global business environments.

The one-year full-time programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of international business, covering areas such as international strategy, cross-cultural management, global entrepreneurship, international trade, global sourcing, international investment and multinational enterprises. The curriculum has been developed with input from industry specialists and places a strong emphasis on contemporary business challenges and the practical application of management concepts.

Students develop advanced research, analytical and project management skills while exploring how organisations respond to the complexities of an increasingly globalised economy. The programme also focuses on leadership, intercultural communication, negotiation, sustainability and responsible business, helping students develop the competencies needed to work across borders and within multicultural teams.

Course Delivery: The programme is delivered through a combination of lectures, interactive seminars, guest lectures, digitally enhanced learning, simulations, presentations and individual and group supervision. Students also have access to postgraduate career development initiatives, including leadership programmes, management skills workshops, CV support and career management activities.

Entry Requirements: A good bachelor's degree from an approved degree-awarding body, university or college, preferably in a business-related field. Relevant professional qualifications or specified diplomas may also be considered. International students should also meet Sheffield Hallam University's country-specific entry requirements.

Start Date: January 2027

Application Deadline: End of November 2026

Duration: 1 year

English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all skills, or a recognised equivalent.

Tuition: £18,600 (INR 24,29,420)
