Applications Open for Santoor Scholarship Program 2024: Empowering Young Girls to Achieve Academic Success

Hyderabad, September 10, 2024: The Santoor Scholarship Program, an initiative by Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares, is now accepting applications for the 2024 academic year. This program is designed to empower young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing them with the financial support they need to pursue higher education after completing grade 12.

This year, the Santoor Scholarship will support 1,500 eligible girl students across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Chhattisgarh. The scholarship covers tuition fees and other incidental expenses, ensuring that recipients can focus on their studies without the burden of financial constraints.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Must have passed Class 10 from a local government school.
2. Must have passed Class 12 from a government school/junior college in the academic year 2023-24.
3. Must be enrolled in a full-time graduate program beginning in 2024-25.

Scholarship Amount:

Selected students will receive INR 24,000 per annum until they complete their course of study. The scholarship can be used to cover tuition fees or other educational expenses.
