India, Sep 10: Multi-cultural hip-hop artist Bali Rico is bringing conscious rap infused with the essence of spirituality and philosophy through his first full-length album titled Shrine. As the first single from this highly anticipated album, the title track is a fun, expressive song. It encapsulates the experience of a lifelong seeker searching for life's meaning and aching to be the one with the divine.

Multi-Cultural Hip-Hop Artist Bali Rico Releases “Shrine”

Bali Rico’s music seamlessly integrates Eastern philosophy and Indian music with hip-hop. The latest single captures the essence of his artistry, combining intricate rhyming patterns and candid yet profound lyricism. The powerful rhymes capture the firelight of a soul fully ablaze in this infectious, groovy track.

Produced by Govinda Ghosh, Shrine poses as an entry point to the spiritual world of Bali’s upcoming album with a sound that reflects the diversity of his upbringing. The album further explores the themes of mortality, longing, hope, despair, and the resilience of the spirit.

Talking about the latest single, Bali Rico said,

“Exploring bhakti through urban and hip-hop music is still an untapped avenue. And I felt, more than ever, the world needs to tune into their inner selves and explore the larger motifs of life. This album is a deeply personal experience, as there are many themes that shaped me as an artist and a human being. In life, we are the sum of every experience, every action, and every choice. The title track, and the first single, encapsulates the very journey of how my multi-cultural experiences moulded me very aptly.”

Through his music, Bali Rico is bridging modern audiences to the essence of bhakti through the raw, real energy of hip-hop. Shrine is an honest poetic exploration of universal human experiences folded in a sonic identity that is deeply personal. Yet, it perfectly captures the tryst between humans and belonging.

The song is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
