The annual Women of Substance and Men of Honor Awards stands as a beacon of recognition and inspiration, celebrating individuals who exemplify exceptional achievements and unwavering integrity and was organised at Nyati Plaza Mall, Kharadi.
The event was spearheaded by Seema Tanwar, the vivacious President of the BJP Education Cell and Women’s Kharadi Club. Through her leadership, a collaborative and empowering atmosphere was fostered by bringing together educators, activists, IT experts, brands, and local leaders. Under her direction, the awards ceremony evolved into a venue for highlighting cutting-edge educational programs and advocating for women’s emancipation, demonstrating her dedication to creating a more robust and welcoming society in Pune.
A Star-Studded Affair
Ritu Shivpuri, the renowned actress known for her captivating performances in Indian cinema, graced the evening as a celebrity guest, adding a touch of glamor and charm to the event. Chief guests for the evening included Jagdish Mullik, the former president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) , Harish Shroff, Director Sales Nyati Group alongwith senior representatives from Ruby Hall Clinic, who added prestige to the ceremony and highlighted the need for Breast Cancer Awareness, emphasizing the importance of early detection and education.

The Women of Substance Awards aimed to honor outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions in their fields. The awards celebrated a diverse group of awardees, including Dr Anjali Awate, Priyadarshani Sahu, Pune Ploggers , Punam Roy Karmokar , Nadia Shaikh , Nidhi Rai , Gargi Deshmukh , Shweta Saxena, Shraddha Shah Raikai, Pallavi Goenka , Priya Shaw, Sapna Gondkar , Smita Patil, Supriiyaa Nagrani , Vanshika Awasthi , Priya Mane. The awards night also felicitated 35 influencers and 8 community leaders for thinking out of the box.
A Walk for Change- The accompanying Powerwalk and fashionwalk which was supported by The Rental Clothing and Mudrika as designer partner and Jivika Jewels and Solitario as diamond jewellery partner and choreographed by Pallavi Goenka, Dazzleviz brought together women from different professional backgrounds, including IT professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, lawyers, and healthcare workers. Participants united not just to celebrate but to raise funds for the NGO partner, Women’s Club Kharadi.
