Bangalore 2nd September 2024: The D4A Education Foundation hosted the inaugural Educators’ Guild Awards (TEGA), a prestigious event honoring the outstanding contributions of educators in Bengaluru. The awards ceremony recognized the dedication, passion, and innovative teaching methods of educators who have significantly impacted the lives of their students.
The awards ceremony, held on August 31, 2024, was a resounding success, drawing together a diverse group of educators, students, parents, and community members. The event was a testament to the profound impact that educators can have on the lives of young people.
Award Categories:
Shiksha Ratna: Lifetime achievement award recognizing teachers who have made a significant impact not only in their schools but also in their communities.
Shiksha Vibhushan: An award that recognizes teachers who have significantly influenced and inspired students
Shiksha Bhushan: An award that honors teachers for their subject expertise and teaching excellence.
Shiksha Shri: An award that celebrates veteran and young educators who set benchmarks of mentorship and pedagogical excellence.
When D4A Education Foundation approached us with the idea of TEGA, we were delighted to support the cause of recognizing and honoring teachers who are indeed the nation builders.
